Meet the Cast- Wildlife- Caribbean Beach Resort

The more time Norwood and I spend at Disney the more I realize that it is not just the people that make your Disney experience special but there are also those cast members with fur, feather and fins that make Disney special. This week’s "Meet the Cast" has several members that we meet while staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

First up one of Donald’s cousins…



This talkative fellow highly recommended the pools and lakes. As a lover of water he made sure to stress that our Caribbean Beach Resort experience just would not be the same if we did not enjoy the water. He was not the only ones who highly recommended the water activities at the Caribbean Beach resort… so did he…



But he did make sure to remind us that although he swims in the lakes, Guests were not allowed, but the pools are great!



This little gal stopped to talk to me about the vegetarian dining options at the Caribbean Beach Resort. She personally was a big salad fan and told me that the Greek Salad in the Market Street Food Court was delicious.

Meet the Cast- Larry Epcot

As my husband and I played groupies for 2U A Tribute to U2 last week we kept running into some of the same cast members. All would say hello, but Larry here struck up a chat with us. I know it should not, but it always amazes me how nice the people who work at Disney are.

So here is scoop on Larry, he and his wife are originally from Nebraska and are big fans of Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party. Both highly recommended the party and now we are convinced that we must go this year after hearing what fun they have had at it in the past. So thanks to this week’s awesome cast member Norwood and I will be attending at least one Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. Now if I can just convince Norwood to dress up…


If you see Larry in Epcot, tell him you saw him on Mouse Beat and that Amanda and Norwood said hello!

Meet the Cast -Luis Epcot

Saturday Norwood and I went to Epcot in the morning to get some breakfast and to take some pictures. As you will find out, I love taking pictures. My husband bought me a great little point and shoot (Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ20) a couple of years ago and I try to take it everywhere with me. So naturally I took it with me to Epcot and naturally I took pictures of everything! While we were in the museum in Morocco Luis, Epcot World Show Case security came in. He was so friendly from the start, but I thought that perhaps I was not allowed to take photos in the museum. Nope not the case at all, he just wanted to let us know about all the neat things that we could see in the World Show Case. For instance he had rug recommendations in Morocco, perfume recommendations from France. Tips on how to locate more hidden Mickey’s (I will share some of those later this week along with my own small collection of hidden Mickey pictures), the somewhat hidden tin toy collection in Japan (very neat check it out) and he personally introduced us to some of the cast members. We also found out that he is from Puerto Rico and has a very funny story about his dog and the neighbor’s cat. He told us whenever we are in Epcot say hello and if we want to know any Disney stuff he is the man to contact. So next time you are in Epcot and you see Luis, tell him Amanda and Norwood at Mouse Beat say hello!
