Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Amanda and I wanted to get into the Christmas spirit so we decided to spend 4 days at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground and 2 nights at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Below is a video of the Totally Tomorrow Land Christmas which has replaced Mickey’s Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Amanda and I would like to thank Billy and Sue at http://www.ticketmomma.com/ for providing us tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Some people have asked about our RV adventures. If you would like to see more about our trips take a look at http://www.amandasweeklyzen.com/
Amanda will be adding photos and updates after she finishes a few projects for her PHD program .
Merry Christmas everyone,
Norwood

Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

Well we waited all year for this week to arrive and it is finally here… Christmas Week! When I was a kid I loved the week of Christmas. All the presents were under the tree and I could not wait to find out what I received. Since Christmas is this Thursday I thought we would talk about Christmas at Disney World each day this week. So let’s get the celebration started with a look at Hollywood Studios “Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.” If you like tons and tons of Christmas Lights you will love the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. Take a look…

Osborne Lights (6)

At 6:30 each night the New York Street comes alive with lights. The presentation when they first turn on the lights is really neat. The snow begins to fall (although on a hot night you may not think there was snow) and the lights dance. It is amazing how many lights are on New York Street and when it is 85 degrees in December and you need a little something to make it feel more like Christmas there is nothing better than the Osborne Lights... well maybe a horse drawn carriage tour of Disney themed Christmas lights. Tell you more about that tomorrow...
