About Amanda
My family moved from Boulder Colorado in May 2008 to Kissimmee Florida and of course the first thing we did was buy annual passes to Disney. We are big fans of all the parks and try to get to the park at least 4 times a week. Besides the rides and all the fun Disney stuff, we use the parks as our hang out. We like to have breakfast (lots of coffee and muffins) in Animal Kingdom and sometimes dinner in Epcot. In case you missed it, I really like Minnie Mouse. She is sweet and cute and definitely needs more movie opportunities!
My family consists of me, my husband Norwood and my furbaby Maverick, who is a six year old border collie.
At this time both my husband and I are graduate students. Norwood is working on his MBA and I am working on an MS in Software Engineering. Maverick spends his days sleeping in the air conditioning and barking at people who drive by in their golf carts.
In addition to my Disney blog I also blog occasionally at Amanda's Weekly Zen. Mouse Beat is a project I wanted to start because our move to Florida and our annual passes has opened my eyes to how much there is to know about Disney.
