What is a Value Resort at Disney World?

Disney classifies their Value Resorts as rooms that start at $82 (plus tax) a night. They are typically smaller (both rooms and resort complex) than the other resort options (Moderate and Deluxe). Most of the value resort options offer less in amenities than the moderate or deluxe options.

Which Resorts are Value Resorts?

Disney has four value resorts. They include Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's All Star Movie's Resort, Disney's All Star Music Resort, and Disney's All Star Sports Resort.

Typically you can find three types of rooms at the Value Resorts, Standard, Preferred and Family Suites (only available at Disney's All Star Music Resort). A Standard room is just what the name implies, standard. In the standard room you are allowed a maximum of 2-4 guests. A Preferred room is a room closer to the guest facilities with (typically) more scenic views. The preferred rooms rates are more expensive than the standard room rates. A Family Suite is a room that can sleep up to 6. It will have a kitchenette and two bathrooms.
