Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarters is located in the Downtown Disney area. Transportation to the theme parks is available by bus.


Resort Recreation:
There are several recreational activities available to Port Orleans French Quarters Resort guests both indoors and outdoors here is a list of what they have to offer…

  • Pools: Port Orleans French Quarters has the Doubloon Lagoon that Mardi Gras fans will love. They also have a kiddie pool and spa for fun and relaxation.
  • Arcade: A variety of arcade games can be found in the South Quarter Game Room.
  • Playground: Found at the court yard playground across from the spa.
  • Watercraft Rentals: Guests can enjoy the river in a kayak, canopy boat, pontoon boat or Sea Raycer by Sea Ray®.
  • Jogging Trail: There is a one mile trail along the Sassagoula River available for walking or running.
  • Bike Rentals: Bikes or surreys are available for rental.
  • Fishing: Catch and release fishing is available for the entire family.
  • Horse Drawn Excursions: Guests can take a horse drawn trip through the byways and along the Sassagoula river.

Port Orleans French Quarters is not only inspired by New Orleans but it also themed much of the resort as if guests stepped into New Orleans during Mardi Gras. From food to decorations guests will feel like it is Mardi Gras everyday of their visit.

Boatwright's Dining Hall – American cuisine with a Southern flavor along the Sassgoula River. The dining hall has a unique and cozy feel that will make guests feel welcome. They offer items such as Prime Rib, Pasta with Shrimp, Filet, Jambalaya, Blackened Red Snapper, and Pecan Pie. Breakfast and Lunch are served and reservations are recommended. Quick Service Restaurant
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court – Great for the families on the go and for snack and other quick service meals such as pizza, roasted chicken BBQ ribs, Cajun meatloaf and sandwhiches.


Resort Rooms:
Port Orleans French Quarters offers two types of rooms… standard and preferred. Preferred rooms offer a view of the Sassagoula river or the pool. Standard rooms accommodate 2-4 guests and usually offer the following…

  • Most rooms are available with two double beds. A limited amount of rooms with king-size beds are also available
  • Disabled accessible rooms available
  • In-room pizza delivery
  • Nonsmoking rooms available
