Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground is located in the Magic Kingdom area. Transportation is available to the theme parks via Bus.
Resort Recreation:
There are several recreational activities available to Fort Wilderness Campground guests both indoors and outdoors here is a list of what they have to offer…
- Pools:
Two pools are available Meadow Swimmin' Pool and Wilderness Swimmin' Pool.- Bay Lake Beach:
White sand beach for rest and relaxation.- Arcade:
Various games for kids of all ages located at Davy Crockett's Wilderness Arcade at Pioneer Hall and Daniel Boone's Wilderness Arcade in the Meadow Recreation Area.- Children's Playground:
Outdoor playgrounds located at Pioneer Hall, the Meadow Recreation area, Creekside Meadow and the Marina/Beach area.- Watercraft Rentals:
Guests can rent a Pontoon Boat, Canopy Boat or Sea Raycer by Sea Ray®, or sign up for professional instruction at Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre.- Fishing: Catch and release fishing for an extra fee.
- Bike Rentals:
Rent a bike and enjoy the three-quarter mile path to Disney's Wilderness Lodge.- Tri-Circle-D Ranch & Farm:
Horseback, wagon and carriage rides available.- Video Rentals:
Available at Meadow Trading Post.- Chip'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long:
A campfire with Chip and Dale with songs fun and a classic Disney movie.- Jogging Trail:
One-mile run along the bike path to Disney's Wilderness Lodge.- Tennis:
Tennis courts available. You will need to bring your own racquets and balls.- Electric Carts:
Rentals are available at the Bike Barn for an extra fee.- Segway Adventure:
A segway tour of the back trails.

Resort Dining:
Fort Wilderness Campground offers a couple of dining options...
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue: dinner and a foot-stompin show.
Mickey's Backyard BBQ : All you care to eat BBQ picnic with your favorite Disney characters.
Crockett's Tavern: a casual dining experience that features pizza, appetizers, smoothies and a full service bar.
Trail's End Restaurant: Buffet style casual dining experience in the rustic Pioneer Hall.
Resort Rooms:
There are a couple of different campsites available at Fort Wilderness Campground:
Premium Campsite : Big-rig friendly that has all the amenities of a preferred campsite in a prime location.
Preferred Hook-Up Campsite: includes water, electric, sewer and cable. (prices start at $55 a night tax is not included)
Full Hook-Up Campsite: Water, electric and sewer included (prices start at $46 a night tax is not included)
Tent/Pop-Up Campsite: Water and electric. (Prices start at $41 a night tax is not included)
There are Comfort Stations located throughout the Campground that includes:
- Toilet facilities
- Private showers
- Laundry facilities (except Creekside Meadow/group camping area)
- Ice machines
- Pay phones
