Holidays Around the World - Epcot
See how the rest of the world celebrates the holiday season at Epcot. Epcot during their “Holidays around the World” celebration will bring us traditional characters and legend of the holiday season all over the world. The special event begins on November 28, 2008 and ends on December 30, 2008.
Things you will only see during “Holidays Around the World”
- Candelight Processional (at America Gardens Theatre): a retelling of the Christmas story by guest narrators and a 50 piece orchestra and choir (show times 5:00, 6:45, 8:15).
- Narrators: John O’Hurley (Nov 28- 30), Neil Patrick Harris (Dec. 1-3), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Dec. 4-6), Virginia Madsen (Dec. 7-9), Marlee Matlin (Dec 10- 12), Monique Coleman (Dec. 13-15), Chita Rivera (Dec. 16-18), Abigail Breslin (Dec. 19- 21), Steven Curtis Chapman (Dec. 22- 24), Edward James Olmos (Dec. 25- 27), Angela Bassett & Courtney Vance (Dec. 28-30)
- Holiday themed Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (Fireworks) (every night at (9:30 at the World Showcase Lagoon)
- Holiday Storytellers: holiday legends from around the world- can be found in the countries in the World Showcase. (show times and story tellers vary to get the most up to date info get a Show Times and Events Guide upon entering Epcot).
- Lights of Wonder: A light show that dances to music. Each night at the World Showcase Plaza (in between Mexico and Canada—just before you enter the countries).
- Candlelight Dining Packages: You select a participating Epcot restaurant and you receive reserved seating in America Gardens for the Candlelight Processional. Call 407-939-3463 to make reservations.
Tickets:
There are no special events tickets needed for Holidays Around the World. Regular park admission will give you access to everything (note that you will need to make a special purchase for the Candlelight Dining Packages).
