Resort Location:
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is located in the Magic Kingdom Area. Transportation to the theme parks is available by Monorail, Water Launch, and bus.  

Resort Recreation:
There are several recreational activities available to Contemporary Resort guests both indoors and outdoors here is a list of what they have to offer…

  • Pools:
    The Contemporary Resort has two heated pools and a hot tub located near the marina area.
  • Beach:
    A white sand beach for relaxing.
  • Olympiad Fitness Center:
    A place to work out or get a Swedish, aromatherapy or deep tissue massage.
  •  Arcade:
    Various games for kids of all ages to play. Located in the Food ‘n Fun Center.
  •  Watercraft Rentals:
    For an extra fee guests can rent a Pontoon Boat, Canopy Boat or Sea Raycer by Sea Ray®. They can also sign up for professional instruction at Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre.
  • Volleyball
  • Jogging Trail:
    1.1 mile run/walk around the resort.

The Contemporary is a modern looking resort on a lake just within the Magic Kingdom theme park area.  The Contemporary Resort also offers meeting facilities.

The Contemporary Resort offers several different types of rooms…

Rooms with a view: (maximum of 5 guests)

  • View of the Magic Kingdom
  • Lake or Pool View (starts at $320 per night)
  • Garden or standard view ( Garden starts at $320 per night and Standard view starts at $270 per night)


Tower Rooms: (Maximum of 5 guests)

  • 12th floor Atrium Club (starts at $515 a night)
  • 14th floor Tower Club (maximum of 4 guests starts at $575 a night)
  • Without club concierge (starts at $380 a night)

Suites: (Maximum 3-8 Guests)
Stay in a one bedroom with kitchenette and separate sitting area (sleeps 6); two bedroom with 2 1/2 baths, separate sitting area and kitchenette (sleeps 8); Vice Presidential with 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6); or Presidential with 2 bedrooms (sleeps 8).

  • One Bedroom suites with a kitchenette and separate sitting area (sleeps 6)(starts at $1,160 a night)
  • Two Bedroom Suite with 2 ½ baths separate sitting area and kitchenette (sleeps 8) (starts at $1,705 a night)
  • Vice Presidential Suite with 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6) (starts at  $1,885 a night)
  • Presidential Suite with 2 bedrooms (sleeps 8) (starts at  $1,975)

General Room Features:

  • Available with your choice of one king-size bed with a daybed (very limited) or two queen-size beds with a daybed
  • Disabled accessible rooms available
  • 24-hour room service
  • Turndown service upon request
  • Nonsmoking rooms available
  • Irons, ironing boards, hairdryers and make-up mirrors in each room
  • In-room coffee makers and refrigerators available at no charge

Club Concierge-level Special Amenities:

  • 12th and 14th floor Club Concierge levels  will receive pre-arrival itinerary planning assistance,  and Cast Member assistance from 7am-10pm. Guests that stay at this level will also receive a  Continental breakfast which is served from 7am-10:30am, mid-day snacks from 11:30am-4pm, wine and cheese from 5pm-7pm and cordials and desserts from 8pm-10pm. Housekeeping provides evening turndown service in all Club Concierge rooms.
  • 14th floor concierge offers robes and DVD/VCR players in guest rooms.
  • For an extra fee concierge guests can participate in the Wildlife Discovery Excursion — which is an exclusive guided tour of Kilimanjaro Safaris® at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Space is limited.
