Resort Location:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas are located in the Animal Kingdom park area. Transportation to the theme parks is available via bus.
Resort Recreation:
There are several recreational activities available to Disney Animal Kingdom Villa guests both indoors and outdoors here is a list of what they have to offer…
- Hakuna Matata Playground:
An outdoor playground located near the pool and overlooking the flamingo area and savanna.- Pumbaa's Fun & Games Arcade:
Various games for kids of all ages located in next to the Mara and just across from the wading pool.- Simba's Cubhouse:
Supervised entertainment for kids ages 4-12 while the parents enjoy a night out.- Pools:
The Uzima is a zero-depth entry pool with a 67 foot long water slide. There is also a wading pool for the younger guests as well as two spas.- Zahanati Massage & Fitness Center:
Facials, Body Treatments and various types of massage are available. There is also state-of-the-art workout equipment, dry saunas and steam rooms.- Zawadi Marketplace:
A large colorful retail shop where you are sure to find snacks, and the souvenir you have always wanted.
What’s special about the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas:
The Disney Animal Kingdom Villas are accommodations that offer luxury and the comfort of home. Just like the Animal Kingdom Lodge the Animal Kingdom Villas offer a beautiful African landscape overlooking the savanna.
The Animal Kingdom Villas are currently under construction with the first phase scheduled for completion sometime in 2008. The completed rooms will have limited availability when they become available.
Resort Dining:
The Animal Kingdom Villas offers several dining options…The Mara- a grab and go market place with sandwiches, soda, chips, coffee and more.
Victoria Falls and Uzima Springs- a place to have drinks. Victoria Falls is located above Boma and Uzima Springs is located near the Uzima pool.
Boma- Buffet style sit down restaurant that offers an American take on food from the African marketplace. They also offer a kids only buffet which features kid friendly meals such as mac n cheese and French fries. You will want to make reservations call 407-WDW-DINE to book breakfast or dinner.
Jiko- is a casual sit down restaurant with flavorful African cuisine and a large wine list. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Call 407-WDW-DINE.
Private Dining- Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas has a large menu of items that are available to your room from 6:00am to midnight.

The Animal Kingdom Villas offers different types of rooms…
Studio Rooms: Sleeps four with a queen sized bed and a full size sofa bed. Room also has a flat-panel TV, DVD player, wet bar, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and private balcony.
One-Bedroom Villa: (several one bedroom choices that all include a Flat-panel TV and DVD player in living room, and flat-panel TV in master bedroom , Full kitchen with a coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator dishwasher, laundry area contains stacked washer and dryer and a private balcony )
- Value Rooms sleep up to four, all others sleep up to five
- Master bedroom suite with king-size bed
- Master bathroom with whirlpool tub
- Queen-size sofa bed in living room
- Sleeper chair in living room (except in Value Accommodations)
Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villa: (sleeps nine with the following features)
- Master bedroom suite with king-size bed
- Three bathrooms: one is a Master bathroom with whirlpool tub
- Second bedroom with two queen-size beds
- Queen-size sofa bed in living room
- Sleeper chair in living room
- Flat-panel TV and DVD player in living room, and flat-panel TV in the master bedroom and the second bedroom
- Full kitchen includes: coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and more
- Laundry area contains stacked washer and dryer
- Private balcony
Two-Bedroom Lockoff Villa: (a Studio plus One Bedroom, Value rooms sleeps 8 while other sleep up to nine)
- Master bedroom suite with king-size bed
- Two bathrooms: one is a Master bathroom with whirlpool tub (Vacation Homes located in Kidani Village will have a third bathroom)
- Second bedroom with one queen-size bed plus one full-size sofa bed
- Queen-size sofa bed in living room
- Sleeper chair in living room (except in Value Accommodations)
- Flat-panel TV and DVD player in living room, and flat-panel TV in the master bedroom and the second bedroom
- Full kitchen includes: coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and more
- Laundry area contains stacked washer and dryer
