Spaceship Earth – Epcot

For the first time since 2003 Norwood and I went on Spaceship Earth in Epcot. Since we moved down here in May we have been to Epcot several times, I have stopped to take pictures of the outside but we have not actually stopped and rode the ride. So the other night while we headed out of Epcot we noticed that for first time since May there was no wait! We just walked right on and several of the cars in front of us and behind us were empty. It was great.
Although my memory of it is fuzzy I do not remember Spaceship Earth being so cool. For instance, way back in time when we rode it it was not interactive like it is now. That is one of my favorite things… take a look at our future…

In our Spaceship Earth Future we will have a robot to take care of Maverick when we go on vacation to Disney World! How great is that!
Besides the interactive console now in your time machine Norwood and I thought that many of the characters on the trip looked very real. Some I had to look twice thinking that they had placed real actors inside…

It was a great experience that was made better by the fact that there was no line! Definitely head over and check it out on your next visit to Epcot. In the meantime here are some more photos ofSpaceship Earth.

We didn't go on this ride the first time we were @ WDW but we went on it twice the 2nd time. It was really awesome! Loved it!
The ride was revamped in 2007 and opened in 2008 to the public. It's as great as ever!
