Fantasmic – Hollywood Studios

Out of all the years that we have been to Disney World we had never seen Fantasmic until recently. WOW! Now many of you know that I am a big fan of the stage shows at all the Disney World theme parks but I have to say that Fantasmic is by far the best one that I have ever seen. Without giving too much away (If you have not seen it really you must!) it is a show based on dream that Mickey Mouse has. When his dream turns into a nightmare he has to use the sorcerer’s hat to fight to make his dream have a happy ending. The stage show includes not only actors (tons and tons of actors in costume) that come out on stage on boats on floating stages etc… but also fireworks and water effects. It is truly amazing and a must see in Hollywood Studios. It is located on Sunset Boulevard between the Tower of Terror entrance and the Beauty and the Beast Stage Show.

Here are a couple of tips:
1.Get there early (like 90 minutes before the show … only one a night at 8pm (sometimes there are two on Sundays) it fills up quick and is really popular.

2.Sit towards the back unless you want to get wet (the water effects and the fire effects make it a little uncomfortable in the first few rows).

3.Look at the sign to your section when you sit down (we arrived early and I went to the bathroom and on the way back got lost!)

4.Ask guest services about the special seating you can have reserved for you by paying a little extra at one of the Hollywood Studios restaurants (I know that two places that offer special seating are Mama Rosa’s and the Prime Time Café).

5.Have Fun! It is a great show that you will not want to miss
