The Seas With Nemo and Friends - Epcot

Nemo and Friends

I have to admit it was a bit of a mistake when we rode “The Seas with Nemo and Friends.” Way back in time (2003) the building that now houses “The Sea with Nemo and Friends” was just an aquarium that housed sharks, stingrays, beautifully bright fish and more. So the other day we were walking around the front of Epcot when we decided, “Hey lets go see the sharks.” Yes I noticed the large sign with the squawking seagulls and spraying water. It was very cool I snapped a photo of it (above) but for some reason I did not think about it or what it was signifying that was in the building. So we walked into the nearest door, which just happened to be the line for “The Seas with Nemo and Friends.” After about five minutes in line I turned to Norwood and said, “This is strange, why do we have to wait in line for the sharks?” And before he could answer me the little boy behind us said… “The line is for Nemo, we are all going to see Nemo!” He continued to bounce around the entire line wait singing about the fact that soon we would all see Nemo.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends is a really cute ride and I know that Nemo fans of all ages will enjoy the music and their adventure while the search for Nemo. The line wait is not much, on the busy day we were there it was 20 minutes and the queue is all inside and dark area that mimics the sea shore and later underwater. Much like the Haunted Mansion you step upon a moving walkway to climb into your two person calm mobile for your journey under the sea with Nemo and Friends. Also located in the same building is Turtle Talk with Crush which is an interactive adventure with the surfer dude himself. Oh and shark fans, no worries, they and many of their fish friends still live in the building, in fact many of them were offered movie roles in the Nemo adventure.

Hey Finding Nemo is one of my all time favorite movies, I try to watch it at least once a month. I really relate to Dorrie, & her short term memory loss.
